Gyula Kaesz (1897–1967) was one of the most important Hungarian interior architects and designers of the 20th century, internationally recognized for his refined modernism and outstanding craftsmanship. As a longtime professor and later director of the College of Applied Arts in Budapest, he also had a lasting influence on subsequent generations of Hungarian designers.
